Having problems with Firefox 3

Hey everyone.

I recently changed from IE7 to Firefox 3. I have a problem with firefox where it keeps opening up new windows once in a while (every 10 minutes or so - VERY irritating). Anyone have this happen before? Any ideas on how to sort this out?

Are you talking about normal popup windows or windows with "about: blank" in the address bar?

using NoScript addon would prevent code from doing this if you are visiting **ahem** those certain types of sites
