Hawks foil alleged murder plot
Durban – Police have thwarted a Durban woman’s alleged plan to kill her husband, the KwaZulu-Natal Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks) said on Sunday.
Police officers from the Hawks, the Ntuzuma family violence, child protection, and sexual offenses (FCS) unit, and K9 unit arrested three suspects aged 25, 30, and 32 for conspiracy to commit murder at Waterloo Crescent in Pinetown, Durban, on Friday, Captain Simphiwe Mhlongo said.
“Members received information about a murder that was going to take place in Pinetown. Preliminary investigation revealed that a 25-year-old female hired two men to murder her husband,” he said.
