Johannesburg - The Hawks arrested an alleged cash-in-transit crime leader in Cape Town on Wednesday.

His arrest was part of an operation to catch the 10 most wanted criminals in 14 days, spokesperson for the crime fighting unit Musa Zondi said in a statement.

The man is linked to other cases, including murder, bank and house robbery, escaping from police custody and possession of stolen property.

His arrest brought to six the number of cash-in-transit heist "kingpins" caught. There were four days left to catch the others.

National police commissioner Bheki Cele said in the statement: "My advice to other wanted cash-in-transit kingpins is to give themselves up. That would be easier.

"But either way, we will arrest them and throw the full might of the law on them."
Good. Now just keep them in jail.

Nice one.

Though I'd rather my taxes didn't pay to feed and clothe this scum and put a roof over his head so what happened to shoot first?

There, I fixed it for Bheki ...

Take him out back bullet to the head, move onto the next 13.
