Hawks will investigate Jacob Zuma for corruption

Not sure what else is there to be investigated? The Hawks can all but pull up the docket containing the 750-odd charges against Zuma and all but get a conviction. Shabir is already convicted for paying Zuma bribes, which Zuma accepted - that alone is an easy conviction to pursue.

The Hawks are so far up zuma's @rse they can see the plumbing of the showerhead and hence nothing will come of this except being exonerated of all charges.

TBH I think that's somewhat unfair to the rank and file hawks members. The management are licking zumas tonsils through his rectal cavity but there are still good investigators in the hawks who want to see justice prevail
 
At least we will receive more damning confirmation that these parrots are firmly in Zuma's pocket.

And the possibility of Ntlemeza letting one of these good investigators near this case is absolute zero.

I don't dispute that, but there are still good people in the Hawks.... the investigation may get somewhere but then get buried by Berning and his merry men.

Unless jz's about to throw him under the bus (and he decides to go out swinging), I think we all know the answer to this.
 
They will probably drop the investigation because they are unable to locate a of the PP's report like they did with that other case where they claimed not to be able to locate Vytjie Mentor.

Good point, actually. It may be that Abrahams is using this to hold an axe over #JZ783
