What time should one stop eating if they are taking the HbA1C test the next day ?

The HbA1c test is a simple blood test. The blood can be taken by your doctor or at a pathology lab. There is no need to fast before the test – you can eat and drink as normal.

If the glucose test, the hospital made me stop at 10pm and they tested at 6am and again at 8am.

Hba1c will give you an average blood level over three months. Fasting before the test won't change anything.

If you doing a fasting oral glucose test, then you would need to fast for 6 hours
