HD 2P decoders Remote and controlling or HTPC?

I found a list on the dstv website with remote codes for control of TV's etc?

Going to test it tonight, my question is I have an HTPC, do you think I'll be able to control that with the HD decoders remote?

Suppose I need a IR receiver coming from the computer.
I would mainly needs the arrow buttons and enter button functions to effectively control my HTPC.
Can this remote funtion as a universal remote??

It can apparently learn?????

Read the manual that came with the remote, its got all the codes on & tells you how to teach it IR functions

Did not realise this remote could do these things
mainly want it to control my TV (on or standby)
BUT controlling my htpc would be great, currently have to use wireless logitech keyboard and mouse.

Wonder if the wireless IR receiver for the mouse and keyboard can pick up signals from the remote and then be captured on the htpc with eventghost etc?
