So I got the powercolor Hd 3870 512 mb for my B-day, (A bit late I would say?)
but I dont want to install the card just yet,wats the power consumption on the card?
And is the card eny good?

well it was the second best graphics card from the last generation of ATI's range.

And Powercolor is rated one of the top brands in China

Its just a bit slower than the 8800GT on average depending on the games and other hardware specs in ur system.

Power consumption...a 3850 is about 63watts max, so it should be around 80watts.

If you have a good 400watt name brand psu, it will do, cost my 3850 ran on a 300w Seasonic

Just make sure you have a 400watt psu.

It performs roughly on par with the 9600GT.
