hd 3870

My friend just bought himself an Force 3D hd3870 but I'm not so sure about this card???
He got if for a really good price R1168 but still,It doesn't have the normal standard cooler on like the other Hd3870's whats your opinion about this card?
And where could I find benchmarks for the Force 3D Hd3870?

Its a great card! And thats a great price!

Most aftermarket coolers are better than the standad cooler, so he's got nothing to worry about.

Just google the name + review and u should find some results

I have the exact one for about six month, it's simply brilliant for me, although ugly. But I can pretty much max out any game except Gta 4, and Crysis Dx10.

How hot is hot? If you mean like 60C - 70C then yes, if u mean like 100C+ then no.

And crysis works the card really hard!


It was the best single gpu ATI card from the last generation, so it cant be all that bad.
Juts dont enable any AA coz then the last generation ATI cards crawl with AA
