HD DSTV in Cape Town: which dish

I know this has been asked a while back, already searched the forums but wanted a more recent opinion. What kind of dishes are people in Cape Town using for HD DSTV? I've seen there are quite a few choices in material and size and they get pretty damn expensive so don't want to spend unnecessary money. I've read some places that the bigger the better (i.e. 90cm vs 60cm) and to avoid metal (due to rust). Fiberglass are pricey but I see you also get aluminium.

Thoughts?

Depends where in Cape Town you are. If you're in Noordhoek or Camps Bay, the wind will rip an aluminium dish to shreds if it's exposed. You also get stainless steel dishes, but a good composite (fibre) dish will last many years, especially if you opt for one with stainless steel parts. The Visiosat dish, that Space Television sells, has a 10 year guarantee on the reflector.

Regarding the size, at the moment a 60cm is sufficient. Multichoice are planning to start switching to DVB-S2 in the near future and for this reason they are recommending 90cm dishes for HD, as you will need better signal quality for DVB-S2. With a good dish, like the Visiosat, a 75cm will be good enough, as it is better than most cheap 90cm dishes.

Will probably go for a 90cm steel, could only get quote on 70cm fiber (R999 excl with LNB) and with MC recommending the larger variety (even if quality may be better), don't want to pay more for a smaller dish and have problems in the long run.
