Hi all,

I've been using my 2P with RF out to my bedroom, but for some reason the remote does not work via the remote blaster (so cant change channels). Does anybody know if the tvLink gadget will work on the 2P?

awesome - thanks isie... is there anything additional that I would need to configure to get it to work? or do I just turn the remote dial to "2" when watching from the bedroom?

you need to activate the tv link under xtraview setup.
but how is your decoders setup?

currently have only the 2P setup in the lounge (single lnb installation). using RF out from the 2P to TV in the bedroom. Just want to be able to change channels in the room until SAT-CR lnb is fitted.

I have purchased a DSD1110(+2) to enable extra view in the room, so will need the SAT-CR at some point I guess. Will still be nice to be able to watch PVR stuff via RF once that is done as well.

was just wondering though - will the heartbeat output from the 2P feed into the RF in on the DSD1110?

the reason i ask, is if you plan on puttin the dssd1110 in the bedroom you dont need the tv link the dsd can act as a tv link (under extraview you can relay remote comands)
the heart beat will be able to transmit the rf to the room, and also you dont need a Satcr, yes cable wise its less but cost wise its cheaper to get a twin lnb with a multi switch.
