HD PVR 2u on Kahalari?

Does anyone know whether the DSTV HD PVR being sold on Kalahari is the new Altech HD PVR 2u? I'd prefer buying from Kalahari so I can earn some eBucks... If it's not the 2u being sold there I'm off to Takealot.

I see it's the same picture that's on Takealot as well, that's what's confusing me. Takealot states it as the HR PVR 2u while Kalahari only states it as the HR PVR. Notice the BACK view of the picture on Takealot states Altech as the manufacturer, even though the front view is the same as the one on Kalahari.

So this leaves me a bit confuzzled as to which model Kalahari actually stocks...
 
Do they allow you to earn eBucks on your purchases? I know you can pay with eBucks, but I'm not aware that you can earn eBucks with them?

Not sure, don't bank with FNB. Just assumed you can earn, seeing as you can pay with ebucks.
 
The back shot on Takealot is the 2U front is 2P. The 2P has been a very good decoder. The 2U has virtually the same spec... Either one should be good to go, but I would still prefer the 2P until the 2U has proven itself.

This is one of my pet grinds with some of the online shopping sites. Just not enough information, specs, etc on products. It puts me off and sends me to another supplier who is prepared to put that level of info there ... and in this case, I'd be off to Takealot who do eBucks.

Yep. They do. And they're a great alternative to Kalahari.com
 
AGAIN - I couldn't find anywhere on Takealot where I can specify my eBucks account number to earn eBucks with the sale. I see you can pay via eBucks, but I want to earn eBucks on the sale.

For general shopping I prefer Takealot above Kalahari, but on bigger purchases I prefer Kalahari for earning eBucks... I don't bank with FNB, I just signed up with eBucks back in the day.

Just got a 2U.....It has a quick removable 2.5 inch drive bay....this may have some inherent advantages :whistle:
