HD PVR Query

Hi there,

I currently have DSTV Premium with a standard DSTV decoder. I have been given an HD PVR decoder. Is it possible to plug it straight in and continue using it for SD viewing? Or do I need to upgrade the dish and the DSTV account to an HD account?

You need to get at least a dual LNB on the dish, and an extra cable running to the HDPVR (model depending though, maybe 4 cables, or a multiswitch)
HD will be enabled with the decoder at no extra cos - its part of premium, PVR functionality is an extra R70 a month though
