HD PVR recording

Hi all,

Seeing that the PVR has a 2h buffer supported by its own feed, should it not be realistic to assume that if I miss half a show I should be able to click record halfway through and still be able to record the show from the beginning.

Does not work - I tried it before, it only records from the 'live' stream.

Dreambox has the option to "Save PTS" (Permanent Time Shift) from any point when you have "Rewound" to watch it.

Strange "they" don't have this feature...

None of the DSTV PVRs can do that

I also tried this and it does not work - when you hot the Record button, it records from the CURRENT live stream so you can't catch anything in the middle with PVR at the mo.

Yip, I have both SD & HD PVR, exactly as SandManZA says....
