HD PVR Remote interfering with Hame Theatre System

Everytime I change a channel or adjust volume, view I-Plate etc. the volume on my old Sansui Home Theatre system is affected.
Basically everytime I press a button on the PVR remote. If I use the old remote of my standard decoder it is fine.
Please help. This is very frustrating.

Please advise which model of PVR remote is causing this. Have a look at the back of the remote, right at the top.
