HD PVR resell?

Just a question - can we resell our DSTV decoder HD PVR 2P? I hear the card is linked to the decoder... is this an issue?

Yes, you can. There's forms from Multichoice that needs to be completed so that they can de-link and transfer the decoder.

Yep, if you wanna pass it on to someone else you, along with the new owner, has to go to a DSTV shop and fill out a change of ownership form. If I remember correctly both of you require copies of your ID.

You will need to provide a letter stating that you are transferring ownership of the device to the new owner.
Include both parties ID numbers and a copy of your ID.

They will then need to take it to a DStv outlet to do the transfer.

That is what I had to do a year ago.
