My PVR was installed in Nov 2009 and was fine for a while.
Now I get frequent loss of signal which results with a blank screen. It can be only for a few secs or longer during live transmission. It also happens when playing back a recording but if I rewind and replay the missing portion is revealed.
Can anyone help me with this. Do you think it's the box or the installer?

sounds like it could be the box if recording is fine if rewinding fixes the problem

Did you remove the power plug and switch on after 30 seconds?
Did you check for any software upgrades?
