HD PVR2P Signal not found

I installed a HDPVR this weekend and after getting MC to activate all the extras I found most channels are not working. The MC guy said it was because I'm only getting the horizontal or the vertically scanned channels.

This is what I can see:
Some channels including 3 HD channels like SSHD1 so I could watch the F1 and Tour de Farce.
All 3 the iplate bars.
Recording, rewinding all that works.

What I have:
60cm dish
Dual LNB
2 Cables from LNB to Decoder. Was told I don't need multiswitch if I don't use Xtraview.

Tuner 1 shows full signal but tuner 2 show 0%
I have switched the cable on the decoder, switched it at the LNB, no luck.

Can it be dish alignment or faulty decoder?

Hope someone can help here before I need to call installer.
 
Seems like you've done everything right. Unfortunately it looks like you need to get an installer IMHO

Out of interest, are you replacing an older decoder (ie, same dish)?
 
Ok spoke to the most helpfull installer, who told me it's a common proble for DIY installs. Apparently it's the angle of the LNB. Explained to me over the phone so I would not have to pay him R250 for 5 minutes works. Great guy.

they usually just advise you to put it on the the same angle that the old one was on. is there more to it? tell us what the wise owl told u!!:)
