HD Ready 37" Samsung

Its a very very nice set...

That range of Samsung is pretty decent, and R5k is a good price for it.
 
I am a Sony guy myself, but must say that this is a very good screen. 5K is a very good price. Go for it!

Where are you buying it ... if you dont mind me asking.

My mate is looking for this size LCD as it would fit nicely in his wall unit.

If you buy it, can you please pm me or post the physical dimensions of the unit.
 
I'm surprised that it's not a full HD set since it's 37"
But you can't go wrong for R5K.
 
A friend of mine knows a distributor of Samsung and she said she would be able to hook me up. She has one herself but i havent seen any HD material onit since she doesnt have any and is not tech savvy.....
Was just concerned about the whole 720p and 1080p difference.
Think i'm gonna buy it should carry me till Samsung releases its new OLED technology in 2010. Just i saw a series 5 fullHD playingblu ray and as blown away!!!!!:eek: Is there a huge difference between Blu Ray on a 1080p screen and a 720p screen?

I personally would say no.
To me it's much of a muchness. Perhaps when you get to 80" size you'd see the difference but on a 37" I bet you can't tell.
 
Woa i also want a friend like that, i am also shopping around for a lcd but it looks like i must wait for the xmas specials.
