HD-SDI Splitting

Hi All

I hope i am in the right place. Can someone tell me if i can split a BNC HD-SDI cable with a BNC T-piece?
 
Great i will then just run series between the screens. just mean i need more cable then. As i understand i can use the normal coax cable as long as it is 75ohm that it is. this was a high-end analogue install and changing to HD-SDI now.
