The HDCP masterkey has allegedly been leaked. (HDCP, the crypto that keeps the link between your BluRay Player & the Flatscreen secure)

Or it could just be a hoax.

I hope so - HDCP is a pain in the arse... just about every HDMI device I have has issues with it.

I'd be very keen on a little black box that removes HDCP.

Key confirmed as legit by Intel.

The leaked HDCP master key protecting millions of Blu-ray discs and devices that was posted to the Web this week has been confirmed as legitimate, Intel representatives said late Thursday.

Really can't wait for blackboxes removing HDCP... I'm having serious handshaking issues between my receiver and projector.
