HDD Causing PC not to start up

As the title says when i plug in my one 1.5tb drive PC is dead. and i have another one but it seems that windows not detecting it or something.

Does any one have idea how i can fix it?

Yes when that drive plug in it like PSU is broken

Like in no fans go on, no beep, nothing? for even a second?

My problem was very similar...My one HDD is fried and the PC will not start when it is plugged in...Think it could be the same thing here. Mine was a 250GB seagate SATA

That's what i am assuming with mine. Plugged it into an external enclosure and it fused it causing a small spark and smoke

its less than year old

Try it in another computer. If it does the same you should take it back.
