Hdd/dvd recorders

My lg recorder is packing up and I'm trying to buy a hdd/dvd recorder, but it seems nobody is selling them anymore. Is this true or are they stiil being sold, and where?

Is it your optical drive failing? If so, what model do you have? You can replace it easily yourself if you get the part from LG

I think the day of the DVD recorder is pretty much done, with the DSTV PVR (and similar) available so cheaply these days...

Nothing like that, when i set a list of timer recordings, it starts the recording, but does not stop. And manually stopping it does not work. The only thing to do then is power it down, but the recording is then lost. Its a lg rh1999h recorder.
