Some people just don't know how to handle electronics with respect and due care, instead handle it as if it's the bottle opener.This is something you could DIY, cutting the end off of a SATA cable and then soldering the wires directly onto what's left of the SATA pins on the hard drive..
Yeah agreed there it was probably me trying to get it to work in HDD Enclosure. But i have countless other drives and this has happened to only two Toshiba X300s. When unplugged, the connector simply remained inside the sata cable itself and not the HDD.This precisely... but I can see that drive has been through the war years and back. Thank you very much, i will try contact them.A place like Southbit should have a doner board and they can swap it out but it might need to be reflashed as I think firmware is locked to the original HDD.
