Does the spin rate 5400 or higher influence the speed of video/audio on the disk?

I'm going to be buying two for an HP Microserver just to store video/audio and wondering if the slower spinning effects anything. A smart friend said 'no' ... but wanted to double check!

It shouldnt be a problem for playback . However the only things that are affected with slower rpm drives are your data transfer rates wen copying stuff over, moving files etc...... playback will only be affected if you use audio/video with extremely high bitrates.
