I bought a new ssd and need help installing it.
I am currently running 2 hdd's, 1 for windows (The one that I want to replace) and one for data and media.
I do not have extra SATA cables, so I was wondering if the following would work:
I want to remove the data hard drive, and use the sata cable to connect the ssd. I then want to clone my windows disk to the ssd. I will then replace the windows disk with the ssd, and reconnect the data drive in its original position.
So I guess my question then becomes, does it matter to which sata connection a drive is connected?
Hope this makes sense
Thanks
