Just a quick question... the HDMI to DVI cable - did it work? My brother had one made up at Zak Speed in Woodmead... didnt work properly, he only got a black and white video signal, no colour. This was from his Soundbar/DVD player to his 22" Samsung 226BW

Not sure yet. Only getting the cable today (paying R115) - but im connecting it from my Xbox directly to my screen which is also a Samsung 226BW. What cable are you using to connect the XBOX to the DVDplayer...

Im 100% sure the HDMI - DVI cable works from XBOX to SAMSUNG 226BW though...

I have the same screen and I use a HDMI/DVi cable to connect it to my PS3 - it works fine.
