Doesn't seem we have a lot of them in RSA. Preferrable looking for a certified premium hdmi cable (fiber) about 20 meters. I have the Baobab HDMI 2.0 Fibre Cable, but it seems to lose signal, handshake or goes into "no hdmi signal" from time to time.
I've checked the port and tv with my laptop using a 2m high quality hdmi, and it's fine. It seems the only other options are importing decent hdmi cable, using those extender boxes (running cat6/7), moving my pc next to tv, getting a console, or just buying a 4k ips gaming panel for my pc. haha.
I don't think there is a (proper) solution post a certain length for hmdi at this stage that runs at least 2k to 4k @ 60hz with all the bells and whistle one has come to expect.
I was thinking of getting something like this though
But I'm not sure if it's even going to last 12 months and not going into yet another "no hdmi signal" like the Boabab's fiber hdmi...
Next card I'm running will be a radeon. so tired of the "supported freesync" on the nv cards.
