I currently have an older Sansui Home Theater which produces excellent sound for me except I have to revert to TV sound for some devices as I cannot connect everyting I have to it. It Accepts 2.1 and 5.1 RCA inputs.
I need to buy a HDMI/Optic/AV receiver to sort out the many sources I have. I have been searching a bit, physically at shops and internet but I can't seem to find what I want. I need nospeakers, blu-ray players, dvds at this stage, just the receiver box with about 4 HDMI inputs, optic input (3D TV to Receiver - its the only sound output the TV's got), HDMI, RCA and 5.1 output (RCA).
Dion Wired, Game, Hi-Fi Corp, P&P Hyper, Govan Mani are all useless, the All stock only LG, Samsung, Pioneer and Sony and then you must take a blu-ray or similar, huge quantities of speakers etc.
Please point me in a direction, I am in the Durban area and I am not a millionnaire. I've been seeing many Yamaha, Wharfedale, NAD etc advertised in classifieds but I don't know who stocks them?
