Hi

See attached picture, it makes explaining much easier.
When a desktop is plugged in, I receive signal on all 3x TVs. When I connect a laptop, no display.
Laptop HDMI output directly to the 1 TV works with a 3m cable.

The HDMI splitter is an expensive type and we ran a 220V cable/plugbox to the splitter so the Splitter can use its 5V power adapter.

We also ran a 7.5m hdmi cable between laptop and splitter to reduce the distance, and added another powered Hdmi Splitter in the middle with a 3m cable connected to the laptop ,with the same results.

Cables are of the thicker 4K types (I think v1.4 but I might be wrong here).

Changing the cables to V2.1 is doable but it will require hours of work again probably and to buy everything and I am not 100% sure this will solve it as the desktop pc is already working.
I tried changing the laptop resolution to 1024x768 as well but that also didn't work.

Does anyone know why it works through the desktop but not the laptop?
I expect the laptop is not giving out enough power through the HDMI cable, but unfortunately this does not solve the problem as the setup needs to work with a laptop.

Thanks

We got a HDMI over Cat6 converter between the Laptop and the HDMI splitter. Tested it on 2 laptops and this seems to work. But the HDMI over cat6 Converter is set to 720P only (Via Dip-switch), if it is on 1080P, it doesn't display any signals.
