Some help pls. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 graphics card and a Samsung SyncMaster B2330 monitor. My display resolution is set at 1920 x 1080. It is connected via DVI cable. I experimented today by hooking it up via HDMI. My display image at the same resolution changed - the picture did not cover the full screen and was strenuous on the eyes. Why would that be - I was under the impression both serve the exactly same purpose, excluding sound.
I also found that when the HDMI cable is used, I have to use the audio out on the monitor for sound - the computer audio out is disabled should I use a media player program.
