HDPVR Hard Drive Problem?

I have the following problem with my HDPVR (4 tuner model):

The unit boots normally and I can watch programs but I cannot access any programs on the HDD.
I cannot pause , rewind,forward or access saved programs,including on dstv on demand.
It just displays " accessing" HDD message but nothing further happens.

I've rebooted many times tried cleaning the HDDs all without success.

Next option would be to call DSTV but I thought someone here might have some ideas.

What's the serial number?

There was a range of the pace 4 tuners pace that had power supply issues,

Update

Serial is below P300080000 BUT my HDD packed up and this is not covered by the free swop-out ( they only swop out for free if it is a power supply failure ).

1 hour and R470 later I walked out with a refurbished unit ;(
