I have searched this forum but did not find much about High Dynamic Range (HDR) image compiling. Is there any HDR software that guys here would recommend other than Photomatix (which dumps a watermark on the created image :()? i.e. any Freeware to create clean HDR images?? :o

I know you pay for it, but it appears to be the best out there - but pricey I think.

I can't remember the names, but when I got interested in HDR, I tried a number of free programs ... but nothing really compared to either the results or ease of use of Photomatix

HDR is for sissies :D, but here you go: http://software.bergmark.com/enfuseGUI/Main.html
See if you like this method

Well call me a sissie then as I love what you can do with it.

Example:

To OP, you can try out http://qtpfsgui.sourceforge.net/?p=239 Its open source and totally free for any OS.

I just blend multiple exposures together in GIMP to try and get better dynamic range. It's not perfect but it works.

What is the difference between blending and HDR?
