Head Unit Help Needed!!!

Hey guys...

Need some assistance from the tech savvy okes.

I have this unit in my vehicle: http://www.witson.com/en/displayproduct ... =101304096

All was working lekka till I decided to go and scratch where I should not have

On the Version screen I damn well pressed the "FW Resume" button on the display. A little window popped up saying "factory reset- do not power off unit", and what did I do? YEAH - powered off the damn unit because I got such a fright when that screen popped up.

When powering it back up it was effed. I tried using the reset button as well but no luck there. The screen has no background image for any of the screens I choose. The menu screen as well and worst of all is that on the menu screen, the option I choose is actually not for the option displayed so I can't try to rectify the settings via the menu.

Does anyone by chance know what I can do to rectify this prob.

Jussis when my wife goes to work in the morning she gonna come back inside and "dinges" me

Any help is greatly appreciated guys...

Link does not work.

The thing tells you not to switch it off and you do the opposite? /facepalm

LMAO... Ja will be in the morning...

I have mailed them and ma awaiting their reply.

Just thought I'd maybe get help somewhere here too
 
Sounds like you corrupted the firmware on the unit. Will probably have to plug it into something to have the Firmware reloaded.
