Garyvdh are your a migraine sufferer, is it that bad that you have to have corrective surgery?

Yes, I get them... not as bad as I used to. I take medicine to control them and it helps. But if I really wanted them to go away permanently this is what it would take. I am seriously considering it, but obviously I would have to go through the tests to see if I am a candidate.

Did you have yourself tested, could it not be that you have too much pressure on the brain, water perhaps.

Yes, I have had all the tests done. I spent the whole R4000.00 bit at the Headache clinic a few years back and they did every test they had.

I have also had X-rays and other tests through my GP and a neurologist.

The headache clinic wanted me to wear that little mouthpiece, and the neurologist gave me a course of Beta Blockers. They do help a little, but no lasting relief.
 
Did the Headache clinic or neurologist say what the possible reason for you getting these Migraine.

I suffer headaches, mild compared to yours, I get it bad but only when I'm under major pressure or in the direct sun drinking, so I avoid all the possible causes, so I don't get it that often. If I feel I'm getting a headache,I will take a suncodin and void the Migraine.
Suncodin is the only thing that helps me fast.
 
I suffer from cluster headaches.These are headaches that occur more or less about the same time at night or day and I am informed are worse than migraines.They occur currently at night as I am now or was waking up with the pain.I have managed to ward them off in the past(dont laugh) for periods of 9 to 12 years by alternative means.The means I have used are:
A A very good chiropractor whom diagnosed them.He immigrated
B A reflexoligist. Moved to the South Coast
C Currently undergoing treatment from a Physiotherapist which I tell what to do.Slow but getting there.
As for painkillers as I wake at night with the pain I use schedule 5 x 2 painkillers.
Try a reflexoligist or physio which both take time to work as I believe it is far better treatment than surgery
Always try alternative means. And yes I have been to the headache clinic which cost approximately 4000.00 10 years ago and refused the surgery they suggested.
 
Any word on how the lady is doing? Did the op seem to work?
