Headphones

Altec Lansing makes some good headphones, have a look at
their site.

 N7.1

Another posibility, and I think this would fit perfectly is the Razer Baracuda gaming headset. 7.1 sound headphones and a noise canelling mic headset...

Seems to be jsut what the doctor ordered, until you see the price.

i was reading it and saw my comments i thought wtf i dont recall this then i check the date rofl

those razor headphones look amazing

ive snapped 3 logitech's so far so i dont think a 1500 set would do things for me when i stand on em

yoh those lok wicked! can they compare to the sennheisers of around the same price though?

Hven't tried the sennheisers - though they have an excellent rep.

My headphones have great sound and excellent positioning(for counterstrike). The vibration thingy also adds an extra dimension

on the review they said the music playback wasnt too hot....how do you feel it is? does the vibration thing make if feel like wen you in a car with hectic sound? :D

I don't really use 'em for music - but sounds OK.

The vibration is cool, bit like a subwoofer. Once you get into it - sucks without.

Hey guys,

I am looking for a decent set of headphones with a mic for playing games.
I.E counterstrike and source, i need a pair that has surround sound or four speaker each side etc, because i need to hear if the dude is behind me or infront of me, with the current stereo headphones i have to turn around ingame to find out if the dude is behind me or infront of me which inevitably leads to a few deaths...

I have just bought a 7.1 - 24bit soundcard and am now looking for headphones to match. Preferably something in the price range of R300-R600, thanks. :)

Ciao

Do you have a girlfriend/wife/kids?:D

Maybe someone should try and not make stupid remarks about someone else's personal life. ;) Oh, and just in case you didn't notice this thread was started on the 7th of September....... last year.
