yes, another headphones thread.

I am basically looking for a pair of wireless headphones that one can connect to your land line phone, and it must also have the functionality to connect to my PC via bluetooth. Anyone come across something like this?

You get headphones, like the Sennheiser RS 120 II, where the transmitter plugs into any RCA/3.5mm TRS socket and then transmits the signal to the wireless headphones.

Why do you want it to connect to your PC via bluetooth? Bluetooth is useful for when you want to use it with your mobile phone without having to plug in a separate transmitter.

Bluetooth to your pc fair enough, but I'm not getting by what method they would connect to a landline phone? What connectivity is available to connect to your landline phone?

I have a couple of bluetooth solutions depending on what I'm doing. One is a plantronics cellphone earpiece which has a2dp so you can also listen to music etc and is highly portable with 11 hours plus battery life, and I just got sennheiser mm400 x head phones which connects to my phone and Mac book easily and seamlessly.

Not sure about connection to a land line though.

It must have a mic as well.

Bluetooth, wifi...it really doesn't matter, as long as it is wireless. Not sure how it connects to a land line phone but I saw it before.

Ok I gave up on this...

I am now rather looking for headphones with a mic.

I've looked at the review of the Siberia v2 but it's more for gaming.

I want something that is be#ok with music, but it must have a mic.

What's your budget>>? I believe you are looking for a headset.

It's not really about the budget. More about finding something that fits his needs. Which is really scarce!

I am looking since last year between wired and wireless headsets/headphones. I'm waiting on the latest releases as certain wireless headsets are due to be upgraded. When looking at Siberia, look at this http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-9h when music must be added to the experience, this is also my current pick between various products I tested and evaluated.

I read the review of this. You see, most of these headsets are designed for games.
I am looking for something that is designed for Music first, and then games.

Music
The 9H has a rather flat signature tuned for gaming. Unfortunately, it isn’t very energetic and some songs may sound underwhelming. There is very little bass presence and those wanting a more powerful bass should be looking to use a graphic equalizer such as the one in the headset control software. Despite all that, a substantial amount of fidelity makes music listening more than bearable. The 9H expresses a wide frequency range with good detail and it was easy to adjust to this set of headphones when switching over from another pair with a different sound character.
Since the 9H was tuned to reproduce audio in a more natural manner for gaming, songs that utilize musical instruments with sparse bass tended to sound best. The 9H is still acceptable for all other types of music, but if your ears are having a bad day, it’s going to sound boring.

You,Change your mind like a girl changes clothes...

Why do you need a mic if it's for music?
Because then you surely are in need of a condenser mic?

I have a pair of Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohms and they are amazing.
A separate mic is the only option as I don't want to use gaming headphones.

I will be doing skype, hangout and some gaming. The main focus is on music. Sieni man?

So you ended up with the Siberia V2?

Nah, still looking. I actually really want a wireless set, but the current available models needs to be upgraded/replaced... I don't want to purchase a set only to hear a new model being released next month. I only have interest in the Corsair sets, due to availability. The Steelseries H-series (wireless) also looks quite interesting, however I do not see any stock or a set to evaluate and it is very expensive in comparison with other gaming sets. All the sets I listed in my thread I tested and evaluated, also a couple Sennheisers and Pioneers and they were the best, even the entry-levels is better than the gaming sets when it comes down to pure audio. In the end I decided to keep it between the 9H and a wireless set (on which I am waiting to be updated…).
