SAIX are planning some maintenance work for the 22 and 23-25 May :rolleyes:

From 22 May, 00:00:00 to 06:00:00
Planned maintenance will be performed on Durban, New Doornfontein, Rosebank, Pretoria, Bronberg, Barrack Street and Bellville edge routers. :eek:
All ADSL, Dialup & Leased Line customers connecting to these sites will experience intermittent service interruptions. They will attempt to keep downtime to a minimum during the planned work.


From 23 May, 10:00:00 to 25 May, 18:00:00
SAT 3 Services will be affected. They will do some planned maintenance on the SAT 3 Cable over which Saix International Infrastructure is carried. They expect no disruptions to their service as they will be switched over to the redundant paths for the planned work. They will attempt to keep downtime to a minimum during the planned work.

Gonna be a disruptive weekend. Why cant they do this crap during the week?
 
Probz depend on what iburst use for international and national connectivity.
Not too familiar with their infrastructure.
It is in the week, Monday (22nd) and Tuesday - Thursday (23rd-25th).
 
fishfly - it affects every single ISP, phone operator in this country. EVERYBODY uses the SAT3 cable as telkom holds the DAMN monopoly - so yes, IBURST will be affected along with everybody else.
 
Well it wont be affecting me for i cant play during that week......sigh....i cant play....not gonna be near my pc.....i want to cry...
