Hi,

Can anyone please recommend some healthy biscuits for someone on a diet who has to have tea and biscuits?

Is Marie Biscuits good (I believe that all you need is 100 steps to burn out 1 Marie biscuit)

And what are good snacks to munch on?

In short, how can we eat and enjoy and still lose weight?

homebaked biscuits with minimal sugar. Can be anything.

I buy Mantellis low-sugar, and then the simple truth cookies from Checkers.

I do find quality over perceived health is most important.

For homemade snacks, I get my inspiration from Keto Twins.

You want your cookies and eat it, right?

But jokes aside, honestly, just cut it out of your diet. It's tough at first, but trust me, you'll get used to it after a few weeks.

Also consider making a switch to eating whole foods and I'll bet R50 you start to lose weight without a gimmicky diet. If you eat a lot of kak and just try to eat less kak for a few month to lose weight then go back to eating lots of kak you're likely to get stuck in an endless cycle of trying to lose weight. But anyway - good luck with the journey.

(edit: also - spend more time in the kitchen making stuff for yourself)

Anything in a supermarket aisle that is boxed or packaged is not healthy. Not even that Future Death stuff in the "health" aisles of some "pharmacies". It just has no added sugar but is still processed carbs that are metabolised into sugar in the body. Even cartons of milk have added sugar.
