I just bought a pair of Logitech gaming heaphones today and I need some help please.... The sound quality on these puppies is really awesome when using Winamp or WMP, but as soon as I start up a game the sound quality is terrible, very tinny.

My question is, how do I EQ the sound so that my games will sound better?

Are you using Realtec?

Well if you are and you got a 5.1 setup then plug in you headphones you need to change the settings in realtec Audio for headphones. Plus you can set the EQ in the manager.

I have USB logitech headphones and have no option to change bass & trable which really sucks.

Ja, I think someone else was asking about these as well. You will find it in a search. But the end conclusion was the same. There is no other software controls. I think they were looking for the bass. I also have two of these headsets.

EDIT: Ooops, Ja I thought it was Ponder.

Thanks Gary - there must be a way, there just has to be. :o

I have the Logitech Premium Notebook Headphones, and can recommend Breakaway Audio Enhancer. :)

The trial version does however switch off after playing 30 minutes of audio - then you have to click on the 'Bypass' button to re-enable it.
