Hearthstone games randomly freezing, timing out, or lagging

So I've noticed that since the game went Open Beta, it's been giving more "problems". Tonight I had 3 games just freeze. Now these are ranked matches so I don't just want to quit, but every single time the game eventually unfreezes (anywhere between 5 and 10 minute wait) and I get the pleasure of watching my opponent just destroy me and winning the game.

Is this a hardware issue on Blizzard's side or is this some kind of hack?

I've had this happen to me once, not a ranked match, just a normal one. Was also destroyed by my opponent when things came back.

Friend of mine was complaining about the same thing a day or two ago, most of his games that day had this issue. Not sure if it's a hardware/software issue on Blizzards side, or a hack.. Both are possible.
