Heat Pump Issue

I have a heat pump connected to my geyser. I have not been using it for years now. Just been using the geyser element.
Last week I thought let me check if the thing still works. Turned it on at the DB and turned it on at the isolator that is located by the unit. Still gives an error so I thought naah just leave it.

Turned it off at the isolator and off at DB and now my geyser only gives lukewarm water.
When I turn the element on with the CBI app it runs for a few minutes then the element turns off as if it is at temperature.

I am lost here. I am not sure if the heat pump controls the element to a certain extent or wtf is going on.

Any advice?

For anyone for future reference.

My heat pump has no connection between the pump and the geyser elements. Some do have.

It was just Murphy fscking around with me and the thermostat on the one geyser gave up the ghost while I was busy with my experiment. Replaced both geysers thermostats and all is well again.
