My mum is quite elderly and has bad knees so struggles going to the loo and shower. She has already fallen twice in the shower.

Am looking for bathroom seats and commodes for her in SA but most of them are not rated enough for her weight and width.

Any assistance with where to find these would be great. I would love to bring her to SA and look after her but she refuses to come here.

It's been a few years but I found CTM here in PE very helpful in sourcing this type of equipment for my mother. It's not normally on display so you need a knowledgeable assistant, best go during the week when the casuals aren't on duty.

CTM the tile shop?

ok.
most important question....

Where is your mother?

Then:
How much does she weight?
and how wide (you mentioned this being a problem)?

ok.

So lets assume she does not fit very well through a door, meaning she can fit through, but not with as much room as someone of 60kg. That could place her on the plus side of 110kg.

Still, where is she located.....
No, no. You can't do that.

Why is it relevant? And why is her location relevant?

If you have some answers, here's Tact 101: "In PE the QQQ machine obtainable from PPP is worth looking at. It's good for your mom's 55kg, but can handle up to four times that, so there's a great safety margin."

Work on 55kg, with ample safety margin.

If she is located in the US then why try source it here? However if she is in Zim then better would be available here.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the challenges your mother is facing, and I understand how important it is to find the right bathroom aids for her comfort and safety. I highly recommend checking out Mr Spammy Mobility. They have a wide range of bathroom aids, including seats and commodes, designed to accommodate different weight capacities and sizes.

Their products are not only sturdy and reliable but also designed with the user's comfort in mind. Plus, they offer great customer service, so if you have specific requirements or need advice on the best options for your mother, they're really helpful.

You can explore their range here: Mr Spammy Mobility. They have detailed product descriptions and specifications, which might help you find exactly what you're looking for.

I hope this helps, and your mother finds the support she needs to stay safe and comfortable.

Best wishes,

Everyone knows @Hamish McPanji is slightly “slow” but I doubt it took him 10 years to find what he was looking for.
