I'm pretty sure Helen Zille was on the same flight as me last night and it's bugging the heck out of me if it was her or not. No big deal perhaps, but the only thing bugging me is that she looked a lot younger than I'd imagine in real life, so was it her? .

So does anyone know if she travelled to New York last night or if she does indeed look younger than 60 odd.

If it was her, then looking good Ms Z ;)
 
She does look younger, she's had some cosmetic surgery if I'm not mistaken. Saw her about 5 years ago and she definitely looked younger than expected.

She was in the seat across the aisle one row behind so it was difficult to stare, and when I did get a chance, she was behind a newspaper or tucked up under a blanket. It was only when the plane stopped in Dakar and everyone had to sit upright and stop sleeping that I got a decent look. Then I disembarked :)

She looked I'd say late 40s though, so bloody well done lady. If she needs some votes, I'll certainly give her one :whistle:

I saw her at the Winklespruit off-ramp while I was walking home. I waved at her and she smiled. She is good looking yes and has a lovely smile :D

Edit: This was about 3 weeks ago. The DA has an office somewhere here in Winkle/Kingsburgh.

Nothing, not even a blue light. It was just her and some other lady in the car.
 
Yeah she doesn't use bodyguards and also drives herself around in a Prius.

See her often enough around Cape Town and have also been on a flight with her before.

DA policy is economy class for everyone I believe...that alone is something the ANC should have a look at addressing.

I've never seen Zuma in a car procession but can just imagine the chaos. If you see him and his posse approaching, best park your car on the side of the road, get out and run away fast cause the gangsters are coming.
