HELLDIVERS 2

Is it true that some regions where they sold the game don't have PSN?

The only reason people dont want to link their steam account (which has credit card info/personal address) to a PSN account because PSN get hacked surprisingly often.

Nah PC players just hate 3rd party kak. Same reason why people hate games on Steam that require a 3rd party launcher like Origin/Uplay/etc

Yes that is true. And a big reason for it being a clusterfsck from the get go.

Nah, I don't think that's how it works anyway. Valve ain't sending that info to anyone surely? Besides...people complaining about privacy suddenly don't care when it's EA or Ubisoft asking you to sign in...

I'm just relaying what ive seen on the steam reviews, they think linking steam account to PSN is not safe.

People were throwing every accusation they could find in the review bombing. I even saw one that said to report Sony to your local government for stock price manipulation haha

Well, I'm still playing

Yea same. The Steam CCU barely dropped during this fiasco, there's been a gradual decline due to various factors (no major order, pre-war bond etc). so hard to say if had a big impact overall.

Last night 8pm there were 165k people playing on Steam and PS5, not bad I think but less than the week before. I'm fairly certain most people kicking up a fuss were players already taking a break.

The implication of review bombing is bad for future sales though, "Overwhelmingly Negative" doesn't exactly entice newcomers to open their wallets...

You should have seen the refund advocacy on the game's discussion board on Steam. Users who tell others to refund, how they themselves refunded, and that they must keep on trying to refund, whilst being in-game. Some got banned from the board for doing that.

It's the digital equivalent of the homework gold star, I would think it triggers, no matter how superficially, that "good feeling" mood when you achieve something.
Please note that medals are the bona fide way of Super Earth rewarding its loyal citizens for their hard work. Your comment has been reported to the Democracy Enforcement Officer

Surprising that Steam issued some refunds, probably got the attention of Sony lol.

People demanding refunds after spending 200hrs in the game though, eish I dunno...socialist behaviour. People from restricted countries had a valid claim, hopefully that restriction will be lifted too.

They refunded users not covered by PSN, a lot of users also previously gamed their Steam region for paying lower prices.
