Electronic Arts, Namco Bandai Games, and Flagship Studios have released a playable demo of Hellgate: London, allowing you to try out this action RPG due to ship on October 31st in North America and November 2nd in Europe. The demo lets you play through part of the full release's first act using the "Blademaster" and "Marksman" classes. Although this is a single-player demo, a good broadband connection seems to be in order, as the download weighs in at a hefty 1.46GB :-)

At 70/GB, that is an expensive demo. Rather wait for it on NAG or just buy the game.

On a local only, it is more reasonable.
 
It is such a good time for gaming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant bear it ahhhh!!!! looking forward to so many titles I do not know what to do, not enough money to sustain habit .... getting weak, I will download demo and post feedback ASAP!
 
1.46Gb = 5-6 days of DL'ing for me... looks like its up to NAG :)

I am finding it impossible to grab it from any site at a reasonable speed. They do not like multiple connections so I await your local upload !
 
I will wait until it is on a local server. then i will dl it with my local cap.
 
people say it looks like quake 3... :eek:
Will stick with UT3, GoW & orange box :D

Does the demo allow you to use the dx10 features or is it just dx9 like the crysis demo??

I think It might support Dx10 but they say that you will need a "8800" for DX10, what about us 8600 people!?

I'm sure 8600 people will be able to run the game on DX10, it'll probably just crawl a bit when lots of baddies show up :p
Have you seen what crysis looks like @ very high on DX10? It's nearly photo-realistic :eek:
