Talk about a game that had some potential but was horrible, horrible, horrible. It started with no LAN play and went down from there.

Thats what happens when the main guy's head are in the sand, riding the diablo fame and hype which on its own isn't enough. The game could have been really good if done properly and released as RTM not a damned beta build. I was in the beta program and the same old bugs was released with the retail as a final build, but i say they just went with one of the betas.

I love the game, the ideas, art and what it could have been, but it was crap roped killed it with his denialist actions. I do feel sorry for those who really tried to keep it going or make something out of the poo puddle that was given to them.

sigh one could hope that namco takes the ip in the end and restore some justice to it - if that is even possible

/salute to other HCE's.... that was where the real game started.

When these kinda things happen they should just release the server software
to the public if they don't plan on brining the game back online ever again.

QFT

one of the gamers bill of rights is that the user has the ability to play the game if the publisher goes under / stops supporting it.

some1 must now just hack the lanplay back and ill be happy :P

I keep hearing that lanplay has already been cracked and they are playing it in some universities etc. But yeah haven't seen it with my own eyes so I'm still skeptical about it.

To think that we diablo players could not wait for this game. Cos it should have been our diablo 3 substitution. But it was not:/ far from it as well.Lets hope blizzard does not make the same mistakes:/

maybe a little light at end of the tunnel
