Kalahari is also taking preorders also for June. they are slightly cheaper than BT. R346 compared to R355.
 
It was never going to be first DX10 game, Lost Planet was going to take that one and maybe COJ DX10 update :P (depending when in June it was gonna come)
 
will it be single player and multiplayer?
or online only?
 
Hmm, I need to get myself Call Of Juraez so I can download the DX10 update for it :D


Shock, what do you think of Lost Planet? It doesn't sem to be making spectacular use of DX10 from the first test demos.. Is it not utilising DX10 to it's full capability? I would expect that to a degree of course, but how bad is it... atm the DX10 codepath runs slower than under DX9. Still driver issues hopefully.

Single player and online play, no multiplayer tho. By multiplayer I mean you won't be able to LAN it. That's the way I understand it tho. But that might change.

I also got the Demo. Took me an hour to actually get it working. It looked really good tho. Keep in mind that it's only a demo and only a 400MB one at that so the end product should be sweet.

That's also why it wasn't running so well. I only got an average of 22 and 24 fps in the benchmark.

No lan. The developers thought it would cut out piracy and cheating on their networks and didn't care that people in less develop countries might not have the internet to enjoy online play.
 
OMG beta servers down i can't get my FIX !!!

/sigh time to actually play something else on my pc...

Meh! gave up on BTgames R40 for postage, not remebering orders taking a week to process a bank transfere...

Take2 FTW :D pay today recive in a max of 3 days! sometimes even same day sending!! :D

It's easier for me. When I pre-order I fetch it at the store closest to me. But I need to phone them and find out if they still have my order on their system. :rolleyes:
 
I order from BT games. Pay and the shop and collect from their. I only order through the website so I get the website pricing.:D
 
Played the demo this weekend and it starts a tad blandly until you level up and start messing around with the stats & skills. It brings back good Diablo 2 memories and honestly cant wait till the 30th. :)

What is the max level you can get in the demo? Currently lvl 4.

the demo u are capped at lvl 5 i think?

the beta for mulitplayer is LVL 22 capped

full version? no idea.

AFAIK the cheapest is kalahari.net for R302 !!
