So, this is seven days AF for me. I sure picked a good time to aim at this, but why not, I figure if I can get through silly season AF, anything else will be a breeze.
I tried an AA meeting, but that happy clappy victim mentality wasn't for me. I have a church I attend, I have a fantastic relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ, I just need to cut back on the alcohol, as it was become an escape, a panacea for the troubles of the world. The stopping drinking has been relatively easy, and I'm now in a much clearer place to meet life and family head on.
Any hoo, I found a great group of Aussies at www.hellosundaymorning.org and that works for me.
If anyone wants to share their thoughts or experiences, feel free. I just thought I'd share what I'm about this bright and hot morning.
