seemed like a sunday thing. no more constant disconnects since then
 
disconnects came back over this past weekend. something is not going down well during the weekend as this only happens during the weekends. Week nights are fine.

What happens is my modem keeps on having to redial.
 
Heh - Due to lack of reception in my area, I have one of those mono-directional satellite jobbies to get me reception :)

The cord connecting to the modem to the antenna is... flimsy at best :p

Only time I disconnect is when the cable falls out ;)

Granted, even with the sat I download at max 30kb/s, but that's more of a reception thing than anything :p

The direction of the Sat (To the angular degree) dictates my speed (During heavy rain, no net for me :p)

Hello!

I really expect my connection-speed to be low as I do indeed live in a no-reception area :)

My iBurst is on loan from my work (I have all the connection details and the usage e-mail is sent to me) as it is rather hard for a Web-Dev to do after-hours work with no internet :)

If these factors aren't a problem, what details do you need?

weekend again and constant dc's. but its ok i just changed to my other wireless network with the dsl modem on it.

have noticed that my gateway does change from 196.x.x.x to 41.x.x.x throughout the day
