help : 3G + imail

im using the standard Mac mail application with leopard
i can receive emails, surf the web and what not... but when i try send... it just doesnt happen. im using Tiscali pop3.. and smtp.vodamail.co.za as my smtp... but its not working
pls can sum1 heeeeelp
